11:59 pm - Forwarded Entry
This journal is mostly friends only.

This post is so people can leave info for me, ask questions and get in touch rather than commenting on other unrelated posts.

"You're so wonderful Alexander!", "It's your child Alexander!", "The police are coming! Get out of the house Alexander!" etc

2:04 am - Surprise post because it was too long for Facebook by the time I finished it.
Or, a post about Zombie Nazi horror films.

So... Dead Snow - Zombie Nazis rather than Nazi Zombies (the latter implies that they became Nazis after zombification surely). Not sure I was keen on running, tree-climbing zombies either, but I suppose they were not traditional zombies. A lot of nice references to other horror films also (although April Fools Day was 1986, not 1984 - I like to think it was put in there to irritate film geeks, or maybe to point out that women don't know much about horror films). Better than Shock Waves too, although I think I preferred Outpost. Looking forward to War Of The Dead as well if it ever gets released!

Does anyone know what happened to the UK Pollen Index that the BBC used to do?

Even a search of the BBC website links it at: http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/pollen/ which doesn't work!

Stupid useless new BBC Weather website!

I'm going to see if I can find some more of this funny American sketch show that I've never heard of before. There seems to be a lot here:

Today, I handed my PhD dissertation, which I have spent the past year researching and writing full-time. Last night, my roommate set an autocorrect on Word that changed "neither" to "nigger." I didn't notice until after I handed it in. My professor is black. FML

2:34 am - We care a lot.
Faith No More reforming?

Could be true.

That would be good news. Unless they decided to play Wembley or somewhere, then that would be irritating.

Nicked from [info]notgothdammit, [info]wolfenchild, [info]maddy and others I'm sure.

Update: Looks like it is now official.

"We find ourselves at a moment in time with zero label obligations, still young and strong enough to deliver a kickass set, with enthusiasm to not only revisit our past but possibly add something to the present. And so with this we've decided to hold our collective breaths and jump off this cliff....
BACK, GOD FORBID, INTO THE MONKEY CAGE!!!

We can only hope that the experience of playing together again will yield results erratic and unpredictable enough to live up to the legacy of FNM.
Who know where this will end or what it will bring up...only the future knows. But we are about to find out!

FAITH NO MORE are:
Mike Bordin, Roddy Bottum, Bill Gould, Jon Hudson and Mike Patton
